Thank you Bspeedy for your tower being installed in the south end of town!!! I have been using computers and online since 1989. However, when my husband and I moved from Nashville, TN, to Flora in 1999, and had to go from a cable modem connection to a dial up connection, we were not happy to say the least. The choices offered in Flora at that time were few and none up to speed with the real world of computer online access. We were really happy when Bspeedy announced wireless service. Unfortunately, because of our location we were not able to get a signal. So from 1999 until 2003 we had to continue to deal with another local company offering poor quality dial up connections. In 2003, still not being able to receive the Bspeedy signal, we switched to the newly offered cable modem connection. Having had a cable connection before I looked with great anticipation at having fast connections again. Sadly, that was not the case. The service being provided for the cable modem connection was anything but "up to speed" and was no faster than my dial up connection had been, not to mention pricey for what we were receiving.
Upon learning that Bspeedy had installed a new tower in our section of town, I contacted them to see if I could now receive the signal. I am thrilled to say that we obviously were able to get a signal because here I am and loving it!!!
Take it from someone with 15 years of online experience, both in a major city and a rural area, Bspeedy is by far the BEST connection I have ever had!!!! Over the years I have had ISP's that are nationwide and locally owned, none compare to Bspeedy. The speed at connecting is of course a very important factor, however, so is the customer service and technical support aspect and having a local company to deal with. Bspeedy offers it all and at a very affordable and competitive price.
Thank you again for the newest tower installation and thank you for making rural America available to be part of the real world of computers and online access!
